Adams County Health Department is seeking a licensed nurse to help provide health care at the county jail and to evaluate potential participants in the Rural Health Opioid Program. Experience and interest in dealing with at-risk populations is desirable. Helpful skills include patient assessment, medication management, patient education, organization and flexibility. This will be a part time position up to 29 hours per week. Benefits include vacation, sick time and OPERS retirement. Please direct resumes to Deadline for applying will be 4:00 on May 28.

Check our new Community Education classes.  The Adams County Health Department is offering classes in First Aid, Babysitting, CPR, First Aid and Mental Health First Aid.   

The Adams County Board of Health will be holding their regular monthly meeting for 2019 on the following dates:
